New Christ Memorial Church
One of the first Christian songs I ever heard was "I wish we'd all been ready" from the Christian rock and roller Larry Norman. Larry Norman's work includes the awesome and legendary songs of my brother and friend Pastor Andraé Crouch. His ministry changed my life and my music at the early age of 15.
Later I heard that Larry Norman was a member of New Christ Memorial Church. (Pastor Andraé and Sandra Crouch's church). I was totally surprised when Andraé Crouch told me that his roots were in Germany too. It's awesome to know that we have so much in common including twin sisters !!
When I recorded the song "I wish we'd all been ready", I sent the song as a mp3 file to Larry Norman and the answer I received surprised me. Larry wrote to me and said; my version of his song is the best version he ever heard and he likes it much better as his own. I was shocked me in a positive way I was very touched by his compliment and this song remains a basic of my concert and repertoire and always will be.

I was honored and delighted when Andrae Crouch heard my Christian song "Thank you" and said that he loved my voice and that the song touched him.
New Christ Memorial Church is nestled between the valleys and mountains in San Fernando. It's a nice area there, not far away from Burbank or Studio City. They have a nice parking area with beautiful palms. On the left side you can see the old part of the church and on the right side the new building. From across the parking lot you see the book store and in there you'll find anointed books and CDs that include the work of Pastor Andraé Crouch and his twin sister Pastor Sandra Crouch.
When you walk into the church you are warmly greeted and made welcome. As you enter the sanctuary you will feel His Presence and know you are "at home" ! It's a very nice church with space for few hundred of visitors and a beautiful big altar area.
Praise and Worship in New Christ Memorial Church is good for the soul and the body. You're singing, dancing and so full of joy!! I mentioned to Pastor Sandra, that at CMC I lose pounds during the service as I'm filled up with the Holy Spirit. The band and the choir is awesome! When Pastor Andrae sings, plays piano and shares his testimony, the whole church is quiet and listening.
Pastor Sandra's sermon is always an adventure as you listen, listen, listen and learn. Sometimes she takes the choir over, and you feel Gods power through her. You always leave the church with a filled spirit and your tank is full. I visited many churches but this church has a message, a charisma and a music that I have not found in any other place.
