2012 Thought's
Dear Friends,
Yeap, 2011 was a year with many up and downs, walking through the valleys and mountains in life. I know and I feel that the way of peace is always under construction.
Sometimes after a long flight I lie in my hotel bed and ask myself, "Why am I doing this”? I could be doing things that are not so stressful.
But directly after these thoughts I ask myself again, “Would I rather have another life, and I answered directly NO”. God put me in this position and I'm honored and blessed that He decided to use me. I have learned that I can save my soul much pain when I walk with God, listening to Him and depending on His Word.
Sometimes I make it hard for God but he always forgives me and gives me strength. He graciously gives me revelations of how to use my talent. My friend and brother Andrae Crouch is right when he says, “God knows the song before I even start to write".
When I sing for more peace and understanding, when I'm making speeches and talking about daily needs and problems, I’m also inspired to make YouTube videos in an effort to communicate in the universal language of music.
I've learned in the past that not everybody loves the “work for peace” or shares my passion. When friends change into enemies, I know it can be hard, but I learned not to fight back or attack them.
Sometimes when you're 6.3 tall you would like not to be peaceful but it's the wrong way. Dr Martin Luther King teaches about nonviolence and that it’s nothing for cowards.
A good friend of mine told me; think about what Mahatma Gandhi said: pray for your enemies and you will feel the peace in your heart.
The spirit of peace cannot be stopped as we saw it in many countries like Libya. I was happy that the country now has the possibility to change and move in a positive direction.
Let's pray for all leaders in the world that they really aspire to do the best for their country, and not just for themselves.
When Gaddafi was arrested and then killed I really didn't like that. I understand all the hate against him but to answer hate with hate brings no profit. I really thought they bring him to the International Court Of Justice in Den Haag. That was the first mistake. I'll pray for the young government that they find wise ways for the future in these difficult times.
Sometimes it’s harder to give of yourself and keep a smile while you are serving someone, than it is to be mediocre and selfish. Wisdom says it’s a more sure election.
Everyone can bring more peace, hope, and understanding their personal world. When you make the choice you will feel the blessing, in addition to getting a smile from people you never expected.
At this time I would like to express my thanks to God for birthing this project through me and putting together an awesome international team for me to work with. We are comprised of different skin colors, races, and religions working in unity to bring more peace to our planet. We anticipate great success as we move forward with our new CD and the positive impact it will create for generations to come.
Have a great and awesome start into 2012
The structure of world peace cannot be the work of one man, or one party, or one nation... it must be a peace which rests on the cooperative effort of the whole world.
